What's actually free, and what's capped?

Every feature is available to every tier — Incremental Extract, Reverse ETL, compliance loop, classification + masking, policy enforcement, approval workflow, all 10 delivery surfaces. We don't feature-gate.

What's capped on Free, after the 30-day Pro trial:

  • 1 active scheduled task at a time (additional schedules can be configured but only one can be enabled)
  • 1 enabled delivery destination at a time
  • 10 ad-hoc exports per month

The caps are designed so a personal user or someone running a proof-of-concept can do their thing on Free indefinitely. Anyone running production schedules across multiple destinations will want Pro.

You also still pay Snowflake for the compute SnowExporter consumes against your warehouse — that's a Snowflake bill, not ours, and you control it through warehouse sizing and schedule frequency. The Logs page shows actual credits used per export.

What happens when the 30-day Pro trial ends?

You drop to Free with the caps listed above. Nothing is deleted — your destinations, schedules, audit history, and reports all stay intact. They're just not all enabled at the same time anymore. The app shows a banner above the cap (e.g., "You have 3 schedules but only 1 can be active on Free — pick which one") and you can re-enable any of them by upgrading or by disabling another.

No credit card is required to take the trial. We don't auto-charge anyone at day 31 — you have to actively sign up for Pro.

What does v2.3 add?

v2.3 introduced Incremental Extract for audit-tracked tables on 2026-06-15. If your tables have CREATE_KEY / UPDATE_KEY columns (or any monotonic counter or modified-at timestamp), v2.3 makes incremental sync a one-checkbox setup that egresses only changed rows — typically less than 1% of the table.

v2.3 is available on every tier (Free, Trial, Pro, Enterprise) — same model as v1.x, v2.0, v2.1, and v2.2. Pro ($199 / month per Snowflake account, intro pricing) does not gate the v2.3 features themselves; what it unlocks is unlimited usage (vs the Free caps of 1 schedule / 1 destination / 10 ad-hoc exports per month) plus commercial support. Existing Free-tier customers auto-upgrade to v2.3 via the Snowflake Marketplace, keeping their cap configuration.

I'm in a regulated industry with 100+ audit-tracked tables. Can I get early access?

Two paths depending on what you want access to:

  • v2.3 Incremental Extract (free, live in the Marketplace as of 2026-06-15) — every customer gets it at no cost; new installs land on v2.3 automatically, existing installs auto-upgrade.   • Pro tier signup ($199 / month per Snowflake account, intro pricing) — commercial support, priority response, quarterly architecture review, and locked-in pricing through 2026. Email [email protected] to sign up. Pro customers' input also shapes the eventual v3.0 tier structure.
How am I billed for SnowExporter today, and how does Pro billing work?

Free tier: nothing to SnowExporter. Install and use through the Snowflake Marketplace at no cost, within the Free volume caps (1 active schedule, 1 destination, 10 ad-hoc exports per month). Snowflake bills you separately for the compute SnowExporter consumes against your warehouse, the same way it bills you for any other workload.

30-day Pro trial: nothing. Every install starts here with unlimited usage and the full feature set. No credit card required; we don't auto-charge when the trial ends.

Pro tier ($199 / month per Snowflake account): currently invoiced monthly via email after signup; we're working with Snowflake Marketplace to enable direct in-marketplace billing so payments flow through your existing Snowflake billing relationship — no separate invoices, no credit cards on file with us, no new vendor for procurement to onboard. Existing Pro customers will be migrated transparently. Intro pricing of $199 / month is locked through 2026 regardless of billing path.
