Free forever. Pro is $199/month.

Billed through the Snowflake Marketplace, so payments use the same billing relationship you already have with Snowflake. No separate invoices, no credit cards on file with us. How the trial works

From install to month two.

  1. Day 0 — install. Install SnowExporter from the Snowflake Marketplace. You start on Pro with all features unlocked. No card, no payment required to start.
  2. Days 1–30 — trial. Use everything. We email reminders at 14 days and 7 days left. The app shows a small "X days left in Pro trial" banner so you always know where you stand.
  3. Day 30 — decision. You'll be prompted to convert to paid Pro for $199/month. If you do nothing, the app automatically drops to the Free tier with its limits. You don't lose access; you just lose the unlimited cap and external-cloud destinations.
  4. After — upgrade anytime. If you're on Free and want Pro back, upgrade from the Snowflake Marketplace in two clicks. Your destinations, schedules, and audit history are preserved across tier changes.

Billing through Snowflake means: no card on file with us, no separate invoices to chase, no procurement onboarding of a new vendor (Snowflake is already approved). Cancellation is one click in the Marketplace listing — we never hold your subscription hostage.

Pricing FAQ

The common questions.

What counts as one "ad-hoc export"?

One run of an export is one ad-hoc export — regardless of how many rows it returns or which delivery mode it uses. Scheduled exports don't count against the ad-hoc cap; they have their own limit (1 active schedule on Free, unlimited on Pro).

Can I downgrade from Pro to Free without losing my data?

Yes. All your configuration — destinations, schedules, role provisioning, audit history within the Free-tier 7-day window — is preserved. If you have more than 1 active scheduled export when you downgrade, the extras are paused (not deleted) and can be resumed if you upgrade back to Pro. Same for destinations beyond the 1 you keep on Free.

Can I upgrade from Free to Pro later?

Yes — anytime. Upgrade from the Snowflake Marketplace listing for SnowExporter. You get the full Pro feature set immediately and Snowflake handles the billing transition. There's no separate 30-day trial when you upgrade from a long-time Free account (you've already had access to evaluate); you go straight to paid Pro.

Does Snowflake charge for compute on top of the $199?

Yes — the $199/month is for SnowExporter's software, not for the Snowflake compute it consumes. Each query you run, scheduled task you fire, and file you write consumes Snowflake warehouse credits at your account's contracted rate. SnowExporter tries to minimize this — for example, file writes use Snowflake's native COPY INTO rather than a buffered intermediate — but the Snowflake bill is separate. The Logs page in the app shows you actual credits used per export so you can monitor.

Do you offer an annual plan?

Not at v1.0 launch. We want to be sure the monthly Pro price is right before we offer annual commitments at a discount. Once we have a few months of data we'll introduce a paid-annual option (typically with a 15–20% discount over month-to-month).

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — one click in the Snowflake Marketplace listing. You're not locked in. Pro billing stops at the next billing cycle and you drop back to Free with all your configuration intact.

What about teams that need SSO, contractual SLAs, or compliance certifications?

We're working on a Team / Enterprise tier with SSO support, custom support SLAs (4-hour P1 acknowledgment, named contact, slack channel), and audit-retention extensions. If you have requirements in this space, get in touch — we'd like to talk to a few early candidates before we publish formal Enterprise pricing.

Why is the price the same regardless of Snowflake account size?

We deliberately don't price by Snowflake account size, warehouse hours, or row volumes. Reverse-ETL tools that do tend to surprise customers with bills when a one-off backfill blows past their tier. With a flat $199/month, you know exactly what SnowExporter costs — your only variable bill is Snowflake's own compute, which you control directly through your warehouse choice and schedule frequency.

What if I want to install Free but skip the 30-day Pro trial?

You can. During install, the Marketplace listing has both Free and Pro SKUs — pick Free directly and you stay on Free from day one. Or install Pro and convert to Free at the end of the trial. Same end state if you don't intend to use the paid features; the trial just gives you a longer evaluation window.
